Vienna is celebrating

Vienna is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Vienna World‘s Fair. The Vienna World’s Fair was a platform for encounters. It was the first world exhibition after the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869 and thus offered new opportunities to build relationships with other cultures. Ist was the begin of Vienna as a world metropole. The Sans Souci building was built specifically for the World’s Fair 150 years ago as the “Hotel Höller”. The unique facade from the time of the World Exhibition was completely preserved.

In the modern interior of the Sans Souci Wien you will find subtle influences of the Viennese “Hochgründerzeit” Age. Owner and art collector Norbert Winkelmayer complements this ambience with a collection of modern art by international and Austrian artists. Discover the most beautiful works by Roy Lichtenstein, Herbert Brandl and Hildegard Joos. The Sans Souci Wien is the right place to celebrate this anniversary with its package „World City Vienna“. Enjoy genuine viennese hospitality as a citizen of the world at the Sans Souci Wien.
