As of June 16, 2025, Martin Thyri becomes the new Director of the prestigious Hotel Sans Souci Vienna, succeeding Andrea Fuchs. Thyri, who started his career at Sans Souci as an intern in 2013, has since held key roles across several departments, most recently as Resident Manager.
“For me, Sans Souci is a passion project,” says Thyri. “I look forward to shaping its future with our great team—honoring its history while bringing in new ideas.”
Andrea Fuchs, who played a pivotal role in establishing the hotel, will remain with the Sans Souci Sphere as Head of Hospitality. She will focus on the group’s strategic development and international expansion, with a special eye on a new project in Grado, Italy. Owner Norbert Winkelmayer highlights, “Martin knows Sans Souci inside and out. I’m thrilled to entrust him with this unique hotel’s future.”
