Les Gastons Vuitton

For the first time, Louis Vuitton is presenting a fine jewelry collection for men: Les Gastons Vuitton. As a tribute to Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the grandson of the founder of the French Maison, the collection is inspired by his fun-loving nature. His passion for life places the Maison Gaston-Louis Vuitton at the center of the new Fine Jewellery collection.

Designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry at Louis Vuitton, Les Gastons Vuitton is presented in three chapters, comprising 16 Fine Jewellery pieces and two additional masterpieces.

There are numerous parallels between Gaston-Louis Vuitton and today’s modern man in the design of the jewelry pieces. Both are characterized by sensitivity and openness towards their environment. Although the Fine Jewellery collection was originally designed for men, the creations are equally suitable for all genders.

The laser cutting technique used gives the Monogram a modern look and precision. The characteristic trunk motif is based on a newly conceived shape that combines white gold and diamonds. The materials used include yellow gold, white gold and, for the first time, titanium. Titanium not only defines the uniqueness of the collection, but also enables the introduction of Les Gastons Vuitton Blue. The Maison defines the new Fine Jewellery collection as the denim of jewelry, effortlessly elegant and versatile, in true Gaston-Louis Vuitton style.

Gaston-Louis Vuitton, an avid designer, inventor and innovator, was known for filling notebooks and putting his sketches and ideas on paper. These included designs for the Louis Vuitton shop windows. All of this is reflected in a mechanical ring and a handmade designer counterpart. The jewelry pieces show the playful side of the Maison: the key elements of the creations are laser cuts, precise designs, functionality and interactivity as well as the eye-catching titanium blue, Les Gastons Vuitton Blue.
